My Story

I moved to the Capitol Region and started working in the yard of a masonry restoration contractor. The owner liked my work ethic and he got me into the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union as an apprentice. After being an apprentice for several years, I was qualified to be a journeyman and the year after I made foreman. Then I started my own business.

We were busy last year in 2024, our first year of business, and turned over more than 35 projects across the Tri-City area. I am already seemingly booked solid for the entire year here of 2025, but am still taking calls and providing no cost consultations and quotes. Restoration and Repair Masonry is now itself a Union Masonry Contractor.

Now in November of 2025, our second year is coming to a close. We have a historic emergency winter project opening up in Rensselaer and a few small indoor projects yet to do. What a year. We didn't do as much work as last year and missed the goal of attaining the requirements to become a licensed General Contractor, but we are already booked for half of next year. With a few more items to fall into place and plenty of time for more work to come in, it looks optimistic that we will achieve that goal by the end of the year next year. Being a General Contractor is an integral part f an overall strategy to secure quality projects that we can use Union Labor for.

As a business owner, I believe in keeping my prices affordable in the residential sector. Union labor is as expensive as it get's and I believe it can be found to be unreasonable to try and get residential clients to pay such a price to have restoration and repair masonry work completed. Restoration and Repair Masonry, LLC is pursuing larger contracts for Union workers, while I myself plan to stay in the residential sector, bringing technique, quality and skill to the Tri-City area at competitive and fair market prices.

I offer no cost consultations and the highest level of technical estimates for absolutely free.
