Whole Home Masonry
We did it all on this home on the far side of Schenectady. Started off by repairing a damaged cellar entrance. A root had grown and pushed a couple block. The root was cut and removed, 1/2"rebar was inserted and instead of block, the repair was made with concrete. Even if the root grows back, there will be no issue. Finished with some fresh paint. All masonry surfaces were pressure washed on this property, even removed some moss from the roof. Caulked the back patio. Replaced brick in several spots. Rebuilt the chimney. Repaired the surface of the porch and back step and then coated with Epoxy and cast aggregate. I needed to learn to drive on fresh seal coat, so I took some liquid asphalt and cleaned up where I turned and disturbed the seal coat. As a rule of thumb, always seal coat last! What a great project. These repairs will last well past their life time.
