Natural Stone Firepit

This fire pit is the first one I have built and it was the first thing I did this year in 2026. The client had other work on their home completed, but this little guy here is what I want to focus on. Pallet of natural stone purchased from Wild Apple Stoneyard. The client had several options and chose this color here. Once built, the interior walls were reinfoced with loose waste materials and mortar before fitting the fire ring into the center. The bottom of the fire pit is 3" of concrete on top of crushed stone with 1/2" drainage holes tacked into it. This particular fire pit is about 2' high and the interior fire ring is 36".
